After initially being appointed to design and build a new website for Hampshire accountancy firm Palmer, Riley & Co, Mondo’s first project was in fact to devise a new logo.
The new logo needed to bring the business up-to-date but also maintain the proud 80+ years history of the business. It would also be the starting point and lead our design of the website.
With limited photography options available and wanting to avoid the use of staged library photos, Mondo took the bold colours and graphical element from the logo and introduced them into the design of the website.
A key function of the website needed to be showcasing the many accountancy services on offer to both businesses and individuals. Whereas the previous website had a single page outlining all services our new website would have a page per service. This enabled us to not only provide a greater level of information for the reader about each service but also improve the SEO of these service pages of the site.
Important content such as business help sheets, budget reports and a tax calendar are all easy to find and read in addition to strong call to actions to encourage requesting a free initial consultation.
Talking about the project the team at Palmer, Riley & Co said: “Mondo made the whole process so easy and simple to manage and be involved in. The choices of logos were great and caused quite a buzz in the office as to which suited our firm best. The integration from this selection to the main website and how it all flowed together was amazing and very impressive. All our specific requirements were met and it is definitely our own unique website modernising but not losing our proud history in the accountancy field.”
